The sections go out as much as they can to enjoy the outdoor life especially staying away. Beavers often do day visits and the occasional sleepover, other sections go for week ends or more camping and occasionally tour abroad.
Ever since the formation of the Diehards, we have had a very close affiliation with our local community.
Ever since the formation of the Diehards, we have had a very close affiliation with our local community. Getting out and about is something that we feel is essential to use some of our Scouting skills to assist and forge a close bond with residents and businesses alike, within the St John's Wood area. To this end we have carried out Bag Packing at local supermarkets, organised stalls at local fairs and our Xmas carol singing is now legendary.
We also have very close ties with the parish of St Mark's Church, all the sections have assisted during Summer/Winter Fetes, attending Annual landmark parades, all the while expanding the footprint and profile of the 8th St Marylebone Scout Group!
