Cub Outings

Twice a year the Cub Pack would go to Chorley Wood for a day outing.

Cubmasters Brian Burrell, David Barrett, Bob Larkin would lead the pack from St John's Wood tube station up the Metropolitan line to Chorley Wood. Here on the common the cubs would build bivouac dens in the ferns, play rounders and a classic wide game called flag raiding along with challenges such as making pictures from natural materials and following a trail by signs, all great fun.
