The Group Journey

The amazing story of the Group from its conception in October 1921 through to the present day, broken into four periods.

The Early Years takes us up to the Silver Jubilee, The Golden Jubilee concludes sadly with the passing of LJK. The story continues with the slow demise as leaders move away from London, membership tails off and the Old Scouts take on an ambitious plan to redevelop the site. Finally the Group comes out of its dormant period and is reborn.

All old Diehardians can look on with pride to see that Scouting will remain firmly in St John's Wood for many years, if not for perpetuity.
